Our chipping process is quick and painless for your dog. We use a microchip, which is about the size of a grain of rice, and insert it just under the skin between the shoulder blades. This chip contains a unique identification number that is linked to your contact information in a national database, which is a legal requirement form 8 weeks old.

This means that if your dog ever gets lost or stolen, anyone who finds them can scan the chip and contact you immediately. It's a simple, permanent, and effective way to ensure that your pet is always protected and returned to you safely.

We register the chip with a national database, and this is important, as it makes it easier to locate the rightful owner of the dog, if in the event the dog is lost or stolen. We encourage all pet owners to register their dog's chip with us, and also update their contact information with us if they move or change their phone number.

As a general rule, We charge £15 per dog with a minimum fee of £60 including local travel.

This fee includes registration, paperwork and your dogs inclusion to the a Smart Trace system
